For some reason post-hardcore, punk and post-metal was whetting my appetite. As I started working full-time and focusing on a long term relationship, moving into the city and making major life changes, I started losing touch with hip-hop. The Roots, Mos Def, Atmosphere, Gang Starr, Sage Francis, Talib Kweli, Common, Deltron, MF Doom became some of my favorite acts.
